Stefan contacted me a while ago to expand his modelling portfolio with new photos. He is a model at Y Models in CT. Once we finally got dates pinned down, we experienced the best weather ever! This was one of the few times I've made it down to the beach for an afternoon shoot and it was not a gale in the making :)

We had such a blast at these two sessions! Stefan was ready and willing to jump and laugh and goof around - and also to be serious and very model-like. We experimented with light and lens-flare from the sun. The two locations were the Donkin in Central PE, and Sardinia Bay Beach - the trusty favourite. On both occasions there were hardly any people about - but we didn't waste any time grabbing two cute dogs on the beach and playing with them :) The sunset was amazing to top it off. Aaaah - what an awesome shoot!

Bulungula Lodge

We spent part of our honeymoon at Bulungula in the Transkei... and I can't stop thinking or talking about this place. I have never experienced such a sense of freedom and so much friendliness at any holiday destination. The Nqileni village owns 40% of the lodge, and the residents of the village offer all sorts of guided tours and other services. Its spectacular, its paradise, and if you can brave the road... go there! Enjoy the pics xxx

Oh my word. The feelings I feel when looking at these photos cannot even be explained. I wish with all my heart that I could just take family photos for a living. That way I could smile all day, every day - because what else would you do when editing photos filled with love and happiness.

Daniela, Theo, and their family have TONS of smiles surrounding them. I have never experienced so much laughter at a photo shoot - and that was just the children! Thank you SO much for allowing me the honour of photographing your family. If I did an ounce of justice to the day, then I'll fall asleep with a little smile on my face tonight xxx

As promised :) What a gorgeous couple! The couple photos were taken at Forest Hall which is a stunning guest house in Walmer (Port Elizabeth). They kindly opened up their old car (dubbed 'Duchess') for us to use as a rather stylish prop.

Nicky and Brian - Part One

Nicky and Brian tied the knot after a whirlwind long-distance relationship. Brian hails from Montana in the USA, and Nicky is one of South Africa's finer specimens :) Their story is sooooo romantic and their wedding was truly touching - I wish them every blessing in their union. The couple were exceptionally patient and showed  so much compassion whilst I was away on honeymoon and I'd like to take the opportunity to say thanks - It truly meant so much to me xxx

This was my second wedding and it feels awesome to put it up on the blog for everyone to see! Unfortunately I couldn't really choose which photos to put up because there were so many good ones... so its coming in two parts (and the extended Facebook Page will be loaded on Tuesday evening)

This photo shoot was of one of my best friends in the world and her famdamily, taken at The Irene Dairy Farm. Isn't little Ethan the cutest! He has a face that is a mix of angel and mischief, and its one of the cutest faces I have ever seen. To Aude-Marie, Shaun, and Ethan - may you hold these happy moments in your hearts forever. Cwayita and Vuyani

Cwayita and Vuyani's outdoor engagement shoot was put in jeopardy after the wind in PE picked up to about 40kms - luckily my plan B was to photograph them at the recently renovated Kind Edward Hotel... and I can safely say the hotel is out of this world gorgeous! The old world elegance mixed with modern design perfectly complimented Cwayita and Vuyani who are seriously vibey and classy (good combination!). Watch out for their wedding photos coming up in March! Good luck with all the planning you two xxx

The Witbooi Family

A few months back, Abby asked me to photograph her three nephews... triplets! Although born prem, we got together once they were out of hospital and took a few quick snaps, inviting the rest of the family along. They were so tiny and frail that we couldn't spend too much time outdoors, but made the most of the time we had :) These three little ones and their cousin are such a gift and they really touched my heart xxx
